Castelul Lupilor (Wolves Castle) is wrapped in a medieval tale that begins in the 1800s — a place where history lingers in the shadows and legends echo through time. Once used as a military barracks by Austro-Hungarian officers, the castle still carries traces of its strict past. Yet, its stunning architecture and breathtaking views rise above that legacy, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle of the modern world.
Like a storyteller drawn from Transylvanian folklore, the tour guide will lead you through the castle’s winding corridors and mysterious legends — an esoteric journey through a place where time bends, and history unfolds in an unending symphony.
Within the castle grounds, you'll also discover a miniature Romanian village, complete with 12 traditional homes and churches, each crafted in meticulous detail by master artisan Ion Rodos — a Guinness World Record holder and recognized as a Living Human Treasure.
For younger visitors, Castelul Lupilor features a fun-filled play area with inflatable slides and a covered playground, ensuring the whole family enjoys the experience. And the best part? All of this is available for just 20 lei, which includes access to all on-site activities.
