Located in the village of Corbesti, this wooden church is a true gem of Romanian folk architecture, dating back to around 1800 and officially listed as a historical monument. The church was relocated to its current site in 1835 and placed on a stone foundation, following the tradition of the time.

Built from manually hewn oak wood, the church impresses with the rustic simplicity of its unplastered beams and the authenticity of its architectural details. The interior is a true artistic treasure: the walls, vaulted ceiling, and iconostasis are adorned with folk-style paintings created in the early 19th century by Nicolae the Painter from Lupsa Mare, assisted by an anonymous collaborator.
