The route starts in the village of Crisan, located in Ribita commune, known as the birthplace of Gheorghe Crisan, one of the leading figures of the 1784 peasant uprising in Transylvania. From there, the path gently climbs toward Dumbrava de Sus, offering a scenic ride through the authentic landscapes of Tara Zarandului.
The entire route is paved, with no rough or unmaintained sections, making it suitable for any kind of bicycle. The ascent is consistent but manageable, making it ideal for cyclists with moderate fitness levels.
